Stocks we are watching today are: Allied Defense Group (AMEX: ADG), Cornell (NYSE: CRN), General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), Juniper (NASDAQ: JNPR), and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).

Allied Defense Group (AMEX: ADG) traded up 67 cents, on 32,300 shares, and closed at $21.57 .

Allied Defense Group (Amex: ADG) announced in May 2006 that its California-based surveillance company, NS Microwave, has received an order for approximately $600,000 from an agency of the United States government.

Cornell (NYSE: CRN) traded up 60 cents, on 32,600 shares, and closed at $15.26 .

Cornell Companies (NYSE: CRN) reported in May 2006 results for the period ended March 31, 2006. The Company reported net income of $0.7 million, or $0.05 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, in the same period last year. This year's first-quarter results included $1.6 million of start-up costs (net of start-up revenues) for new facilities, $0.5 million of losses from discontinued operations, and $0.6 million of losses associated with New Morgan Academy. In addition, the 2006 first quarter results included a pre-tax impact of approximately $2.6 million, representing the annual true-up calculation under the terms of the guaranteed population contract for the Regional Correctional Center. The 2005 first quarter results included a total of approximately $1.0 million of start-up costs (net of start-up revenues) for new facilities, $1.4 million of losses from discontinued operations, and $0.5 million of losses associated with New Morgan Academy. 2005 first quarter results also included a pre-tax restructuring charge of approximately $2.1 million.

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) traded up 58 cents, on 1,487,300 shares, and closed at $63.28 .

On May 30th, General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) announced that The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat a $29.3 million contract to perform routine maintenance and modernization work on the USS Miami (SSN-755), a Los Angeles- class attack submarine. Electric Boat is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.

Juniper (NASDAQ: JNPR) traded up 16 cents, on 12,733,210 shares, and closed at $15.85 .

On May 25th, Standard & Poor's announced that Juniper Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) will replace Albertson's Inc in the S&P 500.

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) traded up 59 cents, on 1,749,600 shares, and closed at $72.62 .

On May 30th, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) announced that it delivered a proposal today to bid on the Secure Border Initiative program (SBInet). The proposal addresses the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) request for a comprehensive multi-year plan that will enhance the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) ability to secure America's borders and reduce illegal immigration.
