CALPINE (NYSE:CPN) recently announced that it selling four gas-fired power plants, representing nearly 850 megawatts of capacity, for approximately $357 million.

ENERGY CONVERSION (Nasdaq:ENER) said that its subsidiary, Ovonic Battery Company, Inc. (Ovonic Battery), has entered into a patent license agreement in connection with its proprietary nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery technology with Guangzhou Wintonic Battery & Magnet Co. Ltd. (Wintonic) of the People's Republic of China.

FUELCELL ENERGY (Nasdaq:FCEL) announced that a PPL Corporation subsidiary has completed the installation of a clean, reliable Direct FuelCell (DFC ) power plant for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. FuelCell Energy manufactured the hotel's fuel cell power plant.
